Despite reassurances from Central Dairies, social media posts suggest that problems with a black residue in cartons of 2% milk persist.
Agropur, the parent company of Central Dairies, issued a voluntary recall on 2% milk, and S’Milk products with expiry dates between September 20 and September 30.
Measures were taken to resolve the early spoilage problems, and additional preventative measures have been taken affecting products with expiry dates on or after October 1.
However, some consumers are still posting pictures of cartons with a black residue inside.
