RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains in the water outside Placenta Bay on Saturday.
Police say the remains, which were found Saturday morning by a commercial vessel working in the area, were taken to the Port of Argentia where they were turned over to Placentia RCMP.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the identity of the body.
