A 22-year-old man is dead as the result of a single-vehicle crash on the Trans Canada near Norris Arm on Friday afternoon.
RCMP say the vehicle left the road and the man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
Another occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
The incident resulted in a lengthy closure of the highway while emergency responders and investigators attended to the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
