A 22-year-old man is dead as the result of a single-vehicle crash on the Trans Canada near Norris Arm Friday afternoon.
RCMP say the victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle after it left the road. He died at the scene.
Another occupant was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
The incident resulted in a lengthy closure of the highway.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
