An 18-year-old man turned himself in to police on Monday after a stabbing that sent two young people to hospital.

Monty Edwards is facing two counts of aggravated assault after a man and woman were stabbed inside a home on Mesher Drive in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The pair was taken to hospital for treatment of “multiple” stab wounds. RCMP say their injuries are not life-threatening.

Edwards was held in custody pending a court appearance.
