Two Newfoundlanders are taking home hardware from the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools National Soccer Championships.

Joe Duke of Mount Pearl and Nolan Martin of Conception Bay were among the St. Andrew’s College squad who pulled off six straight wins at the tournament in Toronto.

The tournament includes mostly Canadian schools and one from Bermuda.

Duke, a Feildians alumni, recorded four goals and two assists during the tournament, with a two-goal performance in the semi-final.

The head coach of the team called the duo a major factor.
