A local drag queen is about to take her performances to a national stage.
Tara Nova has revealed via social media that she will be performing on Season 5 of Canada’s Drag Race, which streams on Crave.
In a promotional video for the show, the St. John’s native describes her drag is “an amalgamation of creative art.”
Nova will become the second drag queen from Newfoundland and Labrador to appear on the show, the first being Irma Gerd who competed in season 3.
The show premiers on November 21st.
