A woman was seriously injured after a robbery at a home in centre city St. John’s in broad daylight.
RNC were called after a man assaulted a woman and took off with her purse over the over the lunch hour yesterday.
Officers tracked down the 55-year-old not too long after and charged him with robbery and assault.
The woman’s injuries were non-life threatening.
