Police in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are turning to the public after someone made off with the cash register from Skipper Joe’s.
The RCMP say the incident happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
A lone man, who was wearing all black clothing, gloves, and a ski mask, approached the cashier and demanded the register be opened.
The man took off with the register, and was last seen heading along Hamilton River Road towards Juniper Street.
Police are asking anyone with information, or dashcam or surveillance footage, to contact them (709-896-3383) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-TIPS (8477)).
