The Town of Paradise says it has secured the necessary pumper trucks to maintain operations at its pumping station.
The town took the unusual step of declaring a state of emergency to access the resources needed to repair Lift Station 10 through which a huge volume of wastewater flows.
Crews have been working at the site near the CBS-Paradise border throughout the week.
Residents are being asked not to flush toilets unless necessary, and reduce the use of washing machines and dishwashers while the state of emergency remains in place.
