There was one more person on board the Marine Atlantic ferry Ala’suinu when it arrived in North Sydney on November 1st than what boarded the ferry in Port aux Basques on October 31st.
Miley Genevieve Devoe came into the world seven weeks early while on board the vessel.
According to reports, mom Lindsay Gale decided to tag along with her partner Mason Devoe during what was supposed to be a quick visit to Nova Scotia to help a friend with a roofing job.
The couple is from Codroy.
Proud dad Mason tells VOCM News that despite her early and unexpected arrival, little Miley and mom Lindsay are doing fine.
