The Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (SPANL) says a privacy breach has occurred involving their Christmas Magic program.
The not-for-profit organization says the breach was limited to 10 people, all of whom have been contacted or are in the process of being contacted directly.
SPANL calls the incident “isolated” and says no personal identifying information such as addresses, children’s names or other sensitive data was released.
Executive director Jennifer Tarrant says she takes full responsibility for the incident and “any harm it may have caused.”
