Don’t be alarmed if you see an increased military presence in the area of Quidi Vidi Lake.
Members of the 37 Signal Regiment are conducting a “ruck march” around Quidi Vidi Lake this morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Up to 30 troops dressed in their combat uniforms and rifles will be congregating in the area near Pleasantville.
The Canadian Forces says no ammunition of any kind will be loaded or carried outside of CNC property.
The march helps to support the physical fitness of its members so that they are ready if called upon to serve.
