There hasn’t been much change in the situation in Paradise involving emergency repairs to the main wastewater system near the Conception Bay South boundary.
The area around the lift station remains under a state of emergency, and pumper trucks will remain on site for several days. Municipal enforcement officers are patrolling the area to keep traffic out.
The town council says it is doing its best to limit the number of pumpers on the scene, in order to keep noise to a minimum.
