NDP leader Jim Dinn says he was “appalled” to learn from the Registered Nurses Union on Friday that out of 121 fourth-year students, only three had been offered jobs.
The RNU released the information after presenting to a group of students at the Centre for Nursing Studies.
Dinn calls it “inconceivable” that only three graduates have been offered positions.
Dinn says government needs to “stop prioritizing flashy infrastructure announcements,” and stop “misleading the public” about progress on recruitment and retention.
