The new-look Brad Gushue Rink is in the championship match of a grand slam curling event in Alberta tonight.
They defeated Switzerland 6-2 in last night’s semi-final to move to the final against Scotland’s Bruce Mouat. The first stone will be thrown at about 6:00 NDST.
Former Brier champ Brendan Botcher joined Newfoundland and Labrador’s Gushue Rink after E.J. Harding left the squad just before the beginning of the season.
