A 22-year-old man wanted on a number of outstanding charges was arrested on Remembrance Day after running into the woods following a traffic stop in Cupids.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle that had pulled into a residential driveway in Cupids around 1:00 Monday morning.
The driver, Brady Stuckless, who was wanted by police on charges stemming from a number of crimes in the Brigus Junction area in October, ran into a wooded area.
Police dog Kaos tracked Stuckless to a home on Gould’s Road in Cupids and he was arrested.
Stuckless is now facing 16 charges related to investigations by both Holyrood and Bay Roberts RCMP. They include break and enter, theft, resisting or obstructing a police officer, and possession of stolen property, among other charges.
He’s scheduled to appear in court today.
