A man spent the night in the slammer after a dustup at a home in Pouch Cove last night.
Police got word of a disturbance just before 9:30. After speaking with a resident at the home, officers tried to take the man into custody, but that was easier said than done.
The 38-year-old began to resist and became uncooperative in the process.
He’s facing charges of assault and resisting arrest. He was held for court.
