It was another banner year for the Home for the Night radiothon in support of the Daffodil Place.

Over $591,883 was raised during a 24-hour radiothon on VOCM.

Sarah Neil and Carl Smith of the Canadian Cancer Society unveiled the grand total live on Your VOCM Mornings.

Neil is humbled by the overwhelming support that will help the Daffodil Place run programs and provide services to those who are battling illnesses like cancer.

“It was just so incredible yesterday to see all the donors in the community come together for the common cause,” said Neil. “We had so many incredible volunteers in yesterday helping with the phones, and I just can’t thank everybody enough for helping pull off this event.”
