The VOCM Cares Foundation says this year’s Dial-A-Carol was another huge success.
The organization raised over $10,500 in support of local charities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Phones were kept busy during the event yesterday, with hundreds of calls sending dedications to loved ones.
Jenelle Lambert of the VOCM Cares Foundation praised multiple organizations that donated to the initiative, including NAPE, CUPE and the Outer Cove Marines hockey team.
The impact of donations will be felt across the province as the organization plans to make Happy Tree donations to various branches of the Salvation Army.
