The director of the Serious Incident Response Team has been appointed as Provincial Court judge for Happy Valley-Goose Bay effective immediately.
Mike King’s appointment was announced by Justice Minister Bernie Davis yesterday.
Stephen Ring has been appointed as the interim director of SIRT-NL to replace King for the time being. A competition process for the permanent director is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
