Premier Andrew Furey has paid a visit to the province’s oldest citizen.
Hersilia Moores of Brigus, who now resides at Collingwood Downs in Clarke’s Beach, celebrated her 109th birthday last week.
Premier Furey presented Moores with a Confederation 75 medal and plaque during a recent visit to the home.
Moores is the country’s 15th oldest living person.
