A happy ending to what could have been a very serious situation in central Newfoundland on the weekend.
Exploits Search and Rescue were called to Badger Lake on Saturday, November 30 after a kayaker ended up in the water.
The team says the person in question was rescued by the Exploits Search and Rescue cold water team and was treated by health officials.
They offered their thanks to RCMP and the many people on the scene.
