A new rescue unit will be accepted by the Rovers Ground Search and Rescue in an event this afternoon in Paradise.
The new unit, provided by Cenovus, will help the ground search and rescue volunteers to provide “critical search and rescue services” right across the province.
The new unit’s capabilities will be demonstrated for reporters this afternoon in a hand-over event at the boat launch at Octagon Pond this afternoon at 3:00.
