A 46-year-old man died as the result of a single-vehicle accident on the Trans Labrador Highway yesterday afternoon.
RCMP were contacted just before 2:30 yesterday afternoon. Members from the Mary’s Harbour and Forteau detachments attended the scene just north of Charlottetown Junction.
A vehicle had left the road just north of Charlottetown Junction and rolled down over an embankment.
The driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
