The Newfoundland Teachers’ Association has a new second-in-command.
Sean Weir has been elected as Vice-President of the NLTA after a province-wide electronic vote. He begins his two-year term next August.
Weir, vice-principal at Bayside Academy in Port Hope Simpson, is currently a member of the provincial executive. He begins his vice-presidency next summer under the presidency of Dale Lambe.
