Statistics Canada says Newfoundland and Labrador’s population saw a slight uptick in the last quarter of 2024.
The province recorded just over 600 new residents compared to the previous quarter.
Across the board, Canada’s population grew by more than 176,000 in the last quarter to hit 41.4 million.
Year over year, Newfoundland and Labrador gained nearly 4,000 new residents in 2024.
