A man who was attacked by another at the Waterford Hospital in St. John’s Thursday night has died.

Thirty-year-old Thomas Parsley has been charged with 2nd degree murder after the 66-year-old victim was rushed to hospital. He had been in critical condition but has since passed away.

The two were patients at the Waterford.

Parsley appeared in court today.
