There were some tense moments for the passengers and crew of an Air Canada flight from St. Johns to Halifax.
Video posted to social media captured the dramatic moments as the landing gear failed.
Sparks flew into the night sky as the flight operated by PAL Airlines slid along the runway in Halifax.
#TSBAir is deploying a team to investigate an aircraft accident at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, NS. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.

The airport was closed for some time while crews unloaded passengers by bus.
Only minor injuries were reported, and the investigation is still ongoing.
