The team which negotiated the Churchill Falls MOU will answer questions from the public during a series of webinars the week after next.

Jennifer Williams, President and CEO of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, will be the lead for four 90-minute webinars January 12-14.

The sessions will include an opening presentation from Williams, as well as a moderated question and answer session. Questions can be submitted by people during the platform.

Those who are unable to stream the sessions can sign up for a telephone-only option.

The MOU terminates and replaces the 1969 Upper Churchill Contract and signals the intent to develop Gull Island and twin the Upper Churchill power plant.

Premier Andrew Furey says the webinars will give every citizen access to the negotiating team and the opportunity to ask questions from the comfort of their own home.
