A man spent some time in the lockup after kicking up a fuss at a home in the capital city’s west end.

Police were called to a disturbance around 8:30 last evening. The 33-year-old, who caused damage to the home, faces charges of mischief, assault, and failing to comply with a release order.

The man was known to the owners of the property. He was held for court.
