The province has struck an agreement with Denmark to recognize each other’s driver’s licenses.

The province has similar reciprocity agreements with many other countries including the UK, Austria, France and Korea among other countries.

The concept is to reduce any unnecessary additional barriers to people immigrating to the province or coming here to work.

The changes came into effect on January 1st.
