There is plenty of speculation surrounding an announcement coming tomorrow at Liberal MP Yvonne Jones’ constituency office in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Jones has called local media to an announcement tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. local time.
Jones was elected to the House of Commons in a byelection in 2013 after serving for years as the MHA for Cartwright-L’Anse au Clair.
She also served provincially as Liberal Party Leader and Leader of the Opposition.
She started her life in public service as the mayor of Mary’s Harbour, Labrador from 1991 to 1996.
In recent years, Jones faced some serious health challenges with two battles with breast cancer.
