Charges are pending after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary seized $1-million worth of cocaine during a traffic stop in Conception Bay South.
The driver was pulled over on Monday evening on the Foxtrap Access Road as part of an intra-provincial drug trafficking investigation.
The Constabulary says 12 kilograms of cocaine, with a street value of $1-million, was seized, as well as $1,140 cash.
A 36-year-old man was arrested as a result, and was subsequently released with charges pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
