A man hauled over by RNC in the wee hours chose to play a game of ‘PuGuess Who?’ rather than comply with the law.

Officers pulled the car over near Elizabeth Avenue just before 1:30 a.m., but the exchange with the man behind the wheel was anything but typical.

The man refused to identify himself to police, despite being asked for his license and registration several times.

Police then ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate, which showed that the registered owner was suspended from driving.

That said, officers still were unable to positively identify the driver. He was arrested for obstruction of justice and taken to the lockup.

The man was eventually identified and issued several tickets. The vehicle was impounded.
