A woman who tried to take advantage of the five-finger discount at the Village Shopping Centre ended up spending some time in the lockup yesterday.
Police were called to the mall around 3:00 yesterday afternoon after the woman had been caught shoplifting.
Mall security were able to hold the woman until police arrived and discovered that the 39-year-old was also wanted for failing to attend court.
She was taken into custody on charges of theft, public mischief, and several breaches.
