A man has been charged for tying up the 911 lines with fake calls for help.
RNC showed up at a home in the west end around 1:30 this morning after receiving numerous calls about someone in distress.
Officers realized the calls were fake and the 32-year-old man was misusing emergency services.
He was arrested for mischief, breach of release order, and breach of the 911 emergency act.
