A suspected drunk man who tried to charge at officers with a butane lighter and a pair of scissors has been arrested.
RNC say they were called to a west end home in the capital city just after 11:00 last night.
Police say when they arrived, the 44-year-old tried to rush at officers.
He’s now been charged with assault with a weapon, resisting arrest and uttering threats.
He was held for court.
