Curling Canada officials will be joined by local politicians, curlers and others at Montana’s restaurant on Kenmount Road to announce that the Brier is returning to the capital city for the first time since 2017.
Montana’s took over as the major sponsor for the event last year.
The 2017 Brier was a memorable one to say the least, with the hometown Brad Gushue rink winning NL’s first title since 1976.
The event is now expected to return in 2026.
This morning’s announcement is set for 11:30 a.m., and VOCM News will be there.
