The provincial government has issued another Request for Proposals for those interested in buying the Marble Mountain ski resort.
Government has been exploring the possibility of divesting itself of the ski resort for years, and first issued an RFP to gauge interest from private investors or operators in 2018.
That effort only resulted in three proposals.
Another expanded RFP was issued in 2022 in hopes of making Marble more attractive to a larger number of potential investors, but, it also failed to garner the attention government had hoped.
The vision for the current RFP is to make the most of the resort’s potential as a year-round destination.
The deadline for proposals is 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9th.
