Energy NL has written each of the federal Liberal leadership candidates to get their views on the energy sector and their approach to energy development.

Chair of Energy NL’s Board of Directors, Jeremy Whittle, says they felt it important to get the views of all candidates on things like the promotion of the energy industry and federal emissions caps.

The letter contains six questions, including whether each candidate supports the use of lower carbon oil from the province’s offshore.

The letter has been posted to Energy NL’s website and answers will be posted as they are received.
