A spike in flu-like illness at the hospital in Goose Bay has resulted in visitor restrictions at the facility.
NLHS says the restrictions are a temporary measure to try to slow the spread of the flu, and will be reassessed to see when visitation can safely resume.
Palliative care and end-of-life visitation can be coordinated with the patient, family and health care staff.
