A 42-year-old man blew more than three times the legal limit after being pulled over in Gander yesterday morning.

RCMP received a call about a suspected impaired driver driving through town around 10:00 yesterday morning.

The man’s vehicle was pulled over and police say the driver failed a roadside breath test. He was brought to the detachment where breath samples came back more than three times the legal limit.

The man’s licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded. He was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
