A rather unusual criminal situation unfolded at a hotel in the capital city yesterday, resulting in the arrest of a woman.
Police were called around 11 a.m. by the occupants of a room they were renting after they noticed a person in their room.
Just before officers arrived, the woman fled in a vehicle that she had stolen from the persons renting the room. A short time later, RNC found the vehicle in the downtown area and arrested a 39-year-old.
She is being held on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, being unlawfully in a dwelling and breach of probation.
