A proposed bridge removal project near Gander Bay is now being considered through the environmental assessment process.
The Gander Bay Indian Band Council is proposing to remove a bridge at Beaver Brook that has collapsed and has become a barrier to migrating salmon.
The bridge removal is scheduled to start June 1st when water levels are at their lowest.
The deadline for public comment is March 20th, with a final decision due on March 30th.
