A Delta Air Lines flight traveling from Minneapolis to Toronto crashed upon landing at Pearson International Airport Monday afternoon, leaving the aircraft overturned on the tarmac.
Delta Flight 4819 was cleared to land around 2:10 p.m. local time, according to air traffic control recordings. Moments before landing, the tower advised the crew about possible turbulence from a preceding aircraft.

By 2:12 p.m., the tower confirmed the crash on runway 23. Images and videos circulating on social media show the plane flipped upside down, with passengers evacuating while emergency crews responded.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has dispatched investigators to determine the cause of the crash. No further details about potential injuries or damage have been released.
