A dedicated businessman who is familiar to many in the capital city has passed away.

Joe Tulk of Tulk’s Glass & Key Shop passed away on Tuesday after a lengthy illness. He was 72.

Tulk, a talented locksmith, started his career working in his father’s convenience store and was a staple at Tulk’s Glass and Key Shop for close to 40 years, a job that was his “pride and joy.”

He was well known in sports circles as well – umpiring numerous softball games over the years.

Funeral details are yet to be announced.
