Newfoundland Power is encouraging people to reach out if they are having trouble paying their monthly bills.
Social media has erupted in recent weeks with posts from frustrated customers who have seen a spike in their bills.
Director of Stakeholder Relations and Communications Glenda Power says it is “critical” for people who may be struggling to make payments to reach out to them.
She says their team my have solutions for people—such as setting up a payment plan. She also suggests people look into an equal payment plan—that’s where people pay a fixed rate based on their last year of usage.
