Three people managed to escape with minor injuries, but a home on Cherry Lane in CBS was extensively damaged as a result of a fire early this afternoon.
Emergency responders got the call around 1:45 this afternoon.
CBS Fire Chief John Heffernan says the blaze was a stubborn one to fight, but they’ve since gotten the upper hand and have now turned the scene over to RNC for investigation.
