The person who took the pictures of a dirty hospital room bathroom and shower does not buy the explanation provided to VOCM News by the health authority.
PC Health Critic Barry Petten shared photos of what appeared to be water damage, dirt, and mould in the shower area of a hospital room.
NLHS said it remedied the situation soon after being made aware, and urged people who experience uncleanliness to notify them immediately.
Joy Davis, the patient in the room, told VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly that she had already made hospital officials aware but did not see any action until MHA Petten went public with the photos.
She spent time at St. Clare’s Hospital last August and described conditions there as totally different with proper facilities, cleaning and exchange of clean linen for dirty.
