A happy ending to the search for a snowmobiler reported overdue in Labrador.
RCMP in Sheshatshiu were notified late Wednesday evening that a 65-year-old, who had left on snowmobile earlier in the day for a trip to his cabin, failed to return as scheduled.
Searchers with the Sheshashiu Search and Rescue searched through the night, while aerial support was secured through provincial emergency services.
The man was located safely this morning. He had taken shelter in a cabin after running into technical problems with his snowmachine.
The RCMP is thanking all those involved in the search and safe return of the missing man.
